Yoni Massage and De-Armoring

How does this work, yoni massage and de-armoring.

Why does it work to release pain, numbness, and tension in the yoni and to re- un- and discover your pleasure potential.

First of all because there is no doubt that trauma can store in the body.

From current stress to traumatic experiences from the past.

When you carry tension in your shoulders, you experience pain.

When you carry tension in your pelvic floor muscles, you experience pain.

The massage part addresses exactly that.

Massaging increases blood flow, with this sensitivity and arousal is increased, and when you massage the right spots that you unfortunately might have never learned about before, it can be super pleasurable without even going into de-armoring.

Because medical and gynecological research is a bit behind when it comes to women’s anatomy of pleasure and arousal.

Only in 1998 Helen O’Connor published for the first time the full body of the clitoris.

And still male anatomy of arousal, pleasure, and reproduction is covered with multiple pages in anatomy books while women’s vulva and vagina’s are covered in… one or two.

Nobody really made the effort yet to fund research to explore female arousal and pleasure.

And this is until today still a thing. Let me know if you know of ie. a PHD researcher in this area! Or are one yourself...

Most ‘knowledge and experience’ when it comes to female pleasure and re- un- and discovering it comes from other sources (mostly Taoism and Tantra in these day and age) and experience of practitioners (Sheri Winston wrote a great book ‘Women’s Anatomy of Arousal’ where she combined together the latest research, theories, and a lot of experience).

Sexological Bodywork is a new area where ‘taotantric’ practitioners and gynecological psychological research (see trustedbodywork.com) is combined as much as possible.

Indeed tantric massage is one way of being a practitioner via this concept (and this is quite big and greatly organized in Germany where I have lived, learned, and worked the last two years!).

Coming back to yoni massage and de-armoring…

Sometimes, with longer term complaints of pain in a shoulder for example, numbness appears to hide the pain.

This is a known concept of the body: make the receptors less sensitive so that the tension and pain in this area doesn’t need to be felt all the time.

This can also happen as a conditioned reaction during a traumatic experience (simple and incomplete version).

Sexuality has been a taboo topic, and still is, and there is so much more pleasure available in a women’s body than just the clitoris.

Science has been biased to the male anatomy and psychology of arousal and it is not 1-1 applicable to women.

Because this ignorance-for-ages of female anatomy of arousal and pleasure and the fact that a lot of sex education comes from porn these days, a lot of women cross their natural boundaries in their first sexual experiences and even long time after.

Another biggie among women is also this focus on the pleasure of the man instead of their own.

Anyway… with not knowing about female pleasure and a lot of other reasons why they are not listening to the signals that the body sends ‘us’ plus a tendency to focus on the pleasure of their partner and not their own it can be that they keep on (re)traumatizing their vagina.

Saying yes when they are not really ready.

Saying yes when it is no today.

Saying yes while there is pain.

This ‘traumatizing’ of the vagina with pain and tension can eventually create numbness or even vaginismus, because the pelvic floor muscles tense up when she is being penetrated.

Through de-armoring you can reconnect to the original sensitivity of this body part.

It is a mix of massaging and acupressure.

A burning sensation can appear when you start to do this.

Through sound, movement, and using the breath you can release whatever pain was behind the numbness, or pain or tension itself (Van der Kolk, trauma expert, writes that most effective trauma release is nonverbal, but connected to the body).

P.s. There is of course a lot of pleasure to be found in working with sexual energy as well, but that is not the main focus of this online course yoni self massage and de-armoring. I do believe that there’s a collective learned numbness in this area, a chronic overstimulation and also just a general unawareness of the energy body, but that is a different story.
