Let’s Talk Nudity

The last years I’ve been in so many nude-positive spaces that I really have to get used to more conservative spaces again.

For me, nudity isn’t something shameful or even sexual.

In the past I had these moments of awkwardness as well… where to watch when somebody was breastfeeding or was undressing…

It is so weird that in so many places in the world nudity has become something to cover.

The thing is…

I’m so so used to nudity that it isn’t even sexual anymore, except of course for the people I am attracted to.

With or without clothes I feel those special vibes.

And without clothes it can of course get more intimate.

But with most people… it’s just a body.

How did we get to this point that a naked body is something to be ashamed of?

Those breasts, pussies, penises…

That these body parts have to be covered?

Honestly, when you get used to it, it loses its excitement, the forbiddenness.

It’s just a body.

It’s really a fixation on anything that even might be connected to sex had to be covered up.

And this created so much awkwardness around nudity.

And it got sexualized even MORE.

With my work, I see a lot of naked people in all kinds of states.

I have seen so much nudity that it completely lost its charge.

(Except for those that I find attractive, but then again… with or without clothes there is a charge of energy!)

For me it is just a sign of humans having lost contact with nature.

Of which sexuality is a part.

Of which our body is a part.

And our body contains parts that are used in sex.

We’re kind of collectively traumatized in this area, so indeed I see that provoking with nudity everywhere might not be the answer.

I do find places though time and time again where I can just be human and don’t have to put plastic swimwear on my yoni.

She loves fresh air and water. ;)

Anyway, sexuality, sexual energy…

It is powerful.

I do belief that when we get comfortable with these energies again, world peace is coming closer.

It’s a deep reconnection to the self, it brings a deep satisfaction for which compensation in extreme consumerism and power loses its attractivity.

Living with awakened and free moving sexual life force energy gives a sense of empowerment, because we truly embody our body.

We are standing in our full power.

And I did not even talk about body shame, this feeling of the body not being good/pretty enough to be shown.

Humans have so many beautiful shapes and forms. Let’s appreciate the beautiful diversity in humans and our unique archetype.

In essence every woman is powerful in their own archetypical way. How powerful you are depends on how much you embody your authentic archetype. This can be a lifelong journey though, and some women have not so much trauma that prevents them from embodying this.

There are so many flavours of powerful women, whether they embody more earth, air, water, or fire (a metaphor with the elements, you can use many though).

You could start here with a wonderful basic practice shared in the free mini course here (click!) that gets you started cultivating that sexual energy!
